Romaine Lettuce Update

November 28, 2018

The CDC and FDA have lifted the advisory on romaine lettuce. Romaine lettuce labeled with a harvest region outside of the Central Coastal growing regions of northern and central California (such as the desert growing region near Yuma, the California desert growing region near Imperial County and Riverside County, the state of Florida, and Mexico) is not linked to this outbreak. Only romaine lettuce from the Central Coast regions of California was linked to this outbreak. Harvest of romaine in those areas has already ended. Our vendors have all agreed to comply to the new voluntary labeling guidance.
