Celebrating Lucas Crawford

Senior Account Representative Marks 25th Anniversary at OGC

Twenty-five years is an incredible milestone to reach at any company, especially one like OGC that has grown alongside a rapidly changing sector such as the organic produce trade. 

Lucas Crawford, OGC Senior Account Representative, shares that among the many things he’s enjoyed during his two-and-a-half decades of service is the rate and scale of change. That has been exciting to participate in. Starting as a warehouser and driver, as the ninth employee at the Portland facility, Lucas has been a part of the company’s evolution and played a role in shaping the business that OGC has become. 

OGC’s Senior Sales Manager Kristi Yoder shares, "Lucas's joy and levity have been formative to the culture on the Sales Team. He has mentored many other Reps over the years in his genuine customer care, demonstrating his trade knowledge and passion for produce."

Aside from the opportunities to get his hands dirty in the field with grower partners and establishing years-long relationships with accounts, Lucas holds the coworkers-turned-friends, and in some cases friends-to-family, as the most rewarding aspect of his career at OGC. 

“Working at OGC has been more than just bringing organic produce to the people. In so many ways, it’s about the actual people,” Lucas shares. “To know the farmer that grew the squash that we deliver to a produce department run by people we also know and that the squash is taken home and enjoyed by eaters is incredible. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of being a part of that process.”
