New This Year & Coming Soon! Cured Winter Squash Varieties

OGC’s friends at Boldly Grown Farm have been experimenting with long-storage organic winter squash varieties, presenting additional opportunities for eating delicious Northwest-grown crops further into the winter.

Through a months-long curing process, the skins harden, protecting the squash from degradation. Meanwhile, the starches convert to sugars resulting in truly phenomenal eating quality.

Available starting around early December, keep an eye out for cured varieties like Buttercup, Fairy, Shishigatani, Tetsukabuto, and Winter Sweet Kabocha!
