NW Kiwi Berries: Go Big Now!

Northwest grown organic kiwi berries have arrived and It’s a banner year, OGC Buyer Jess Hardin reports.

“Weather and crop management have aligned in Southern Oregon, making this is a killer year for kiwi berries! Volume is high and eating quality is fantastic.” 

Packed with more vitamin E than avocados and boasting a ton of antioxidants, this superfood is immunity-boosting with a sweet and tangy flavor that eaters can’t resist. Coaxed from rows of lush vines by the sun, OGC partners with a small, family-owned and operated grower to bring kiwi berries to market.  

“These kiwi berries are lovingly hand-picked and packed,” Jess shares. “And, they’re only around for a short time each season. So be sure to stock up now, as we anticipate about three weeks of availability.”
