OGC Joins One Step Closer’s Pack Pact: A Commitment to Smarter, Greener Solutions

“This commitment isn’t just a signature – it’s action. OGC is actively exploring alternatives to plastic for fresh, organic produce items we package under our Ladybug Brand®,” said Mike Dill, OGC’s director of advocacy and sustainability. “We’re diving deep into sustainable materials, life cycle assessments and real-world solutions to shrink impact while delivering high-quality organic produce to our customers.”
OGC’s first commitments focus on plastic usage and a waste audit, identifying opportunities to swap materials and advocating for policies that support sustainable packaging innovation in the produce world.
