OGC’s Founders were grassroots, social movement people who wanted to transform food and agriculture. They decided the best way to accomplish this was to create a produce distribution company that would help organic farmers access the market, while supporting the health of the planet and communities they served. 

That original vision still drives our purpose today, and has grown with our business, staying true to our values. Pledging financial and in-kind contributions to grow and strengthen the organic movement is part of who we are and written into our codified bylaws.
