EcoFarm 2024 Recap

Thanks to EcoFarm and all our friends who attended this year’s conference and annual Organic Produce Mixer, co-hosted by OGC. Once again, the week was chock full of incredible speakers, workshops, conversations and connections that help move the sustainable and organic food movement forward.

OGC sent 12 coworkers including folks from sales, buying, marketing and leadership to meet with customers and suppliers, visit farms and learn from keynotes and workshops from all parts of the trade. Here are just a few highlights from this year’s EcoFarm Conference:

• Attending keynote presentations, including one featuring stone fruit grower and author Mas Masumoto and another featuring group of inspiring successful organic farmers.

• Attending several organic and regenerative keynote and workshop sessions exploring the challenges and opportunities.

• Connecting with the nonprofit Kitchen Table Advisors (KTA) and a group of 15 Latino farm business owners, enrolled in the KTA mentorship and education program who received EcoFarm scholarships through KTA by way of an OGC Mission Fund grant.

• A 2024 Organic Produce Mixer at maximum capacity with organic friends mingling, enjoying happy hour and snapping photos at the produce themed selfie booth.
