Gold Nugget Mandarin

Regarded as one of the best tasting citrus varieties globally, organic Gold Nugget mandarins are not to be missed! Their golden-orange, pebbly skin is delightfully aromatic and reveals tender flesh that’s extremely sweet and always seedless. This easy-peeling variety is fantastic for kids and adults alike who will appreciate how easily Gold Nugget segments for quick and satisfying snacking!

Tango Mandarin

These medium-sized mandarins boast balanced acidity and fine-textured flesh. Super juicy with a tangy-sweet flavor, organic Tangos are also easy to peel and seedless. Developed by UCLA Riverside and described as “the most promising mandarin the university has ever produced,” this mandarin is one to know and enjoy!

Pixie Mandarin

Sweet and petite, organic Pixies are the perfect “lunchbox sized” mandarin and are ideal for tossing in backpacks for a quick snack on your next adventure. Mildly tangy and sweet, these round little rays of sunshine are great for the littlest eaters who respond well to a balanced flavor. Eaters of all ages will appreciate that Pixies are juicy, easy-peeling and seedless!

MurcottTangerine_Vertical.jpg

Murcott Tangerine

Also known as Honey Tangerine, this medium-sized and oblate variety has thin golden-orange skin that peels easily. Incredibly fragrant, Murcott’s bright orange, super juicy flesh is high in sugar with a medium-acidity and rich in flavor. Truly a phenomenal eater!

MinneolaTangelo_Vertical.jpg

Minneola Tangelo

Easily recognizable by its bell-shape, the flavor of an organic Minneola Tangelo tastes like a traditional orange with just a touch of tangerine. This grapefruit and mandarin cross is deliciously sweet-tart and is extremely popular during the late season.

TDE_Vertical.jpg

TDE Mandarin

Citrus enthusiasts wait all season for this delicious variety to make an appearance! It’s well loved for being not only easy-peeling and seedless, but also for its incredible flavor. This oblate, dark-orange variety is high in sugar with mild acidity and super juicy. OGC coworkers have described TDE as “citrus candy.” Drawing its name from its parent varieties, Temple, Dancy and Encore, some eaters with refined palettes even brag they can identify the flavor of each parent in one TDE!

There’s still plenty of time to create towering, lush citrus displays full of small round orange things (and large Navels, yellow Oro Blanco Grapefruit, or petite Centennial Kumquats...you name it, as the Northwest’s Best Source of Organic Citrus, OGC has it!) Delight your shoppers as we move into spring by creating interest and providing the flavor they still crave.
