Educate youth about organic agriculture and connect them to organic food.

Food for Lane County Youth Farm, in north Springfield, is a 5-acre urban educational farm. Each summer on the farm, 10 to 15 teens earn a wage and gain job skills and training in gardening, leadership, financial management and nutrition. By cultivating organic produce for a CSA program and local produce stands, they grow a direct connection to organic food.
