Returning the Land

Passing on Knowledge

Eastern Washington-grown row crops are a summer staple for OGC customers who know our longtime supplier, Inaba Family Farms. The Inaba story goes back to 1907 and is as remarkable as the organic produce they grow.

In 2022, OGC’s sourcing partnership with the Inabas transitioned seamlessly to the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation as the Inaba family transferred their land back to its original owners. Head over to OGC’s blog to learn how this change kick starts Yakama Nation’s Agriculture Plan, giving their community control of their food supply and nutrition, and preserves cultural and natural resources.
